COVID-19 INFORMATION
As of July 31, 2025, New York State no longer requires employers to provide COVID-specific sick time to employees. AEA and IATSE's partnership with the Broadway League to create COVID-19 Health Safety Protocols ended in 2023.
Employees who become ill with a COVID-19 diagnosis should seek treatment as prescribed by their doctor, and follow their doctor's advice on when to return to work. For employees able to wear a mask at work, you should make that known to your doctor as they may advise you differently about returning to work.
As with any illness, you should seek a medical diagnosis and treatment plan. Following your doctor's advisement, you should return to work when you are ready. If you have Sick Days available to you, Company Management will automatically apply them to any days in which you have missed work.
